Randi Ward vunnið týdningarmikla týðaraheiðursløn

Randi Ward hevur vunnið  týðaraheiðursløn fyri sína ensku týðing av bókini Fjalir við yrkingum hjá Tóroddi Poulsen, sum Forlagið í Støplum gevur út. Umframt heiðurin fær hon 2000 dollarar, eitt bronsumerki og harumframt verður eitt brot av týðingini almannakunngjørt í Scandinavian Review. Hetta er av sonnum ein stórur heiður bæði hjá týðara, men eisini hjá útgevara og yrkjara og hjá okkum øllum í okkara "vibrant culture", sum dómsnevndin skrivar. Grundgevingin ljóðar soleiðis: “The translator has meticulously and convincingly conveyed in English the startling, spare quality of Tóroddur Poulsen's poems, allowing readers to enter the shadowy dreams and wry humor of the poet's world while offering an unexpected glimpse of the power of the Faroese language. This excellent translation for the first time gives a wider audience the opportunity to listen to a poetic voice from a vibrant culture that is largely unknown to the English speaking world.”

Hjartaliga til lukku, Randi, flott avrikað.

Onnur, sum hava vunnið ASF týðaraheiðurslønina
